This is my first post on my new blog.  Today begins the journey into the world of internet marketing.  Beginning February 3, 2009, I began a study course called John Thornhill’s Internet Marketing Masterclass.  This is an exciting course that can take a newbie like me with zero experience, and through the course of 36 weeks  will turn me into an experienced internet marketer.

In today’s economy, it is vitally important to have more then one income stream.  Most of us work a job or profession that provides us with an income based on either an hourly wage or a base salary.  Our hope is that this will be sufficient to meet our needs and provide for our families.  But as many have come to realize, one income stream may not be enough.  Layoffs abound and many people are worried about the security of their present jobs.  Therefore, it is advisable to have more than one source of income.

The answer for me and many others lies in internet marketing.  On the web, there are numerous ways to create a part or full time income.  The most common sources include eBay, affiliate marketing, and information marketing.  In the days ahead, I will explore each of these in greater detail.
